CET-Karnataka 2023 Clashes CUET-UG and BITSAT

The Karnataka state level Common Entrance Test (CET-K) 2023 shall be conducted by Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) from 20 to 22 May 2023. KEA has now started the application process for the same. 

Candidates need to note that CET-K dates clash / overlap with CUET-UG and BITSAT

(i) B.Tech (Including Food Technology, Dairy Technology, Food Technology, Agriculture Engineering)
(ii) B.Arch 
(iii) B.Sc. (Hons) Agriculture, B.Sc. (Hons) Sericulture, B.Sc (Hons) Horticulture, B.Sc (Hons) Forestry, B.F.Sc (Fisheries), B.Sc. (Hons) Agri Business Management 
(iv) Bachelor of Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry (B.V. Sc. & A.H.)

Domicile : Candidates who satisfied one of the 15 specified clauses / eligibility criteria are eligible for selection / allotment of government seats.

Test date (Bio & Maths as applicable) : 20 May 2023
Test date (Phy and Chem) : 21 May 2023
Kannada language test (select candidates) : 22 May 2023
Last date to apply : 5 Apr 2023

Entrance exams clashing with CET-K : Please note that CET-K has date clash / overlap with CUET-UG (21 - 31 May) and BITSAT (22 – 26 May).

CET-K pattern

The question papers of the Common Entrance Test will be based on the First and Second PUC syllabi prescribed by the Department of Pre-University Education of Karnataka State.
There will be 4 papers of 1 hour 20 minutes each for Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology in independent sessions.
Additionally, there will be a 1 hour Kannada language test for Horanadu and Gadinadu Kannadiga candidates (conducted at select test centres).
